Skating season is here! As a child I frequented these rinks year round - and yes I went through an awkward phase! If you're looking to skate before winter ends, check out these ponds as well as indoor and outdoor rinks.
When conditions allow, the village will let you know when it's safe to skate on the below local ponds:
-
Leith’s Pond (Thornwood)
-
Opperman’s Pond (Pleasantville)
-
Nannahagen (Pleasantville)
A sign will be posted when ice is safe to skate.
